CREDAI-MCHI’s 39th AGM

CREDAI-MCHI’s 39th AGM held at Sofitel on 05 October 2021, Ms.Richa Shah – Chairperson of Women’s Wing gave a presentation on CSR activities undertaken by Women’s Wing before the members present. Ms Shah mentioned that the Women’s Wing was started on July 8, 2015. Ms.Shah mentioned about the activities being carried under the Women’s Wing where 41 students were given scholarship which immensely helped the students in fulfilling their dream of acquiring higher education for the academic year 2020-21.

The highlights of the presentations include Student Scholarship , Health Camps, Motivational Talk , Webinar & Workshops  for Students and Members  undertaken by Women’s Wing .

Health camps were conducted for 330 plus labourers at Kalpataru Constructions – AVANA & RADIANCE site. Cancer Awareness Camps were organized in association with  Vasantha Memorial Trust. Participated construction workers were greatly benefited and influenced  by the motivational talk given by Mrs. Jayalakshmi Krishnan .

Ms Richa Shah thanked SBI Bank and Managing Committee members  for helping students with these scholarships which will help students to achieve their dreams.

Ms Richa Shah also mentioned that CREDAI-MCHI Women’s Wing has raised funds and have handed over 161 students education scholarship pursuing Civil Engineering, Architecture and Vocational Courses (Diploma in Constructions) of Rs 60,23,961 from the  finanical academic year 2016 to 2021 from colleges of Anjuman I Islam Kalsekar Technical Campus,Baliram Hiray College,CTES College, M.H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering, Thakur College of Engineering & Technology,L.S.Raheja School of Architecture,Datta Meghe College and many more. And have conducted  32 health camps for 5700 plus labourers till date.

Ms Richa Shah also shared about the  New Initiative – Economic Scholarship for Women in Skilled Jobs in Real Estate , about working on education endowment for skilled women in real estate  for skilled work such as  brick laying, plumbing and painting and  requested  the Developer members  to open up their site for women.

 Ms Richa  Shah appealed  all the  Members to ask all women in their families to come forward and become Members of the Committee , to come forward in raising funds for the students education scholarship in this field and having potential of employment in the Real Estate Sector. , providing their sites for conducting health camps.

Ms Richa Shah  also thanked all the members  for their contribution towards the donation towards the workers on site.
