Women’s Wing Inaugurated during Silver Jubilee Edition of Expo

Women’s Wing of MCHI – CREDAI was inaugurated with Elan amidst luminaries of Real – Estate world who had congregated at Silver Jubilee Edition of Expo on Sunday morning to laud the efforts of MCHI – CREDAI taken in the direction. Launched with the objective of giving a disciplined and structured approach to the CSR activities of MCHI – CREDAI, the members of the wing are seen as torch bearers for taking the social cause of the organization forward.

 

Attended in huge numbers by Core Committee members of women’s wing, new joineess and aspirants, it turned out to be an event to remember for. Hony. Chairperson Mrs. Rupal Kanakia was lauded for her initiative in the field of education and taking the lead in fulfilling the objectives of women’s wing. Amidst presence of Hony. Vice-Chairperson, Mrs Anuradha Shah, Secretary Ms. Binitha Dalal, Special Projects Members: Mrs. Sejal Goradia, Mrs. Mona Ajmera, Mrs. Richa Shah and Mrs. Jesal Shah, Mrs.Kanakia apprised about the objectives and activities of the wing going forward.
MCHI – CREDAI President Mr. Dharmesh Jain, Secretary Mr. Nainesh Shah, Past President, Mr Niranjan Hiranandani, Exhibition Committee Chairman, Mr. Bandish Ajmera, Committee Member & MPL Head Mr. Shailesh Sanghvi graced the occasion with their august presence. The event also witnessed active participation by Exhibition Committee Youth brigade represented by Mr./ s Diipesh Bhagtani, Dhaval Ajmera, Rajeev Jain, Prateek Patel and Nikunj Sanghvi.
The stage was handed over to young & exuberant, Mehak Jain who compared the event with panache. After welcoming guests she invited Dr. Preeti Mandawewala, who was the “Celebrity Guest” to enlighten distinguished audience with Chakra Medidation, which she specializes in. Dr. Mandawewala shared how Chakra Dhyana is important for mind, body & soul. Attained through meditation and pranayama, one can gain control over body and mind resulting in the creation of harmony amongst, Mind, Body and Soul. She shared, “Chakra Meditation has helped many of her students manage diseases like: Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Acidity, Migraine, Blood Pressure, Spondylitis, Asthma, Respiratory, Lower back & stress related problems etc.” She took ladies for a meditation session too.
Second Session was by none other than – Celebrated Marathon Runner – Dare to Run’s Amit Sheth whose session charged all ladies to gear up for next marathon Mumbai is going to host. Taking through his tough, exhausting & excruciating journey of becoming a marathon runner, he gave interesting anecdotes from his journey like: The rain is on our lips, We do not run for prize, But the storm the water whips, And the wave howls to the skies!
His talk was truly awe-inspiring and motivational. Amit Sheth is an entrepreneur, motivational speaker, bestselling author, and a long distance runner. Amit started running at the age of 38 with the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2006, and since then he has run over 25 Marathons and Ultra Marathons around the world. Amit was the first Indian to run the 56 Km Two Oceans Ultra Marathon, held in South Africa. He was also the first Indian to run the 89 Km Comrades Ultra Marathon (dubbed as the Ultimate Human Race) in South Africa in 2009. Amit, along with wife Neepa, became the first Indian husband-wife team to stand on the finish line of the Comrades Ultra Marathon in 2010. Amit has been appointed as the International Brand Ambassador by the Comrades Marathon Association.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs Kanakia says, “It is a momentous occasion today where Industry Stalwarts have congregated to motivate MCHI – CREDAI’s Women’s Wing members who are taking forward the mission of harnessing women power for the cause of CSR. I am very glad to note that most of the members present here have shown keen interest in active participation of Wing’s activities.”
Mr Dharmesh Jain, President, MCHI – CREDAI added, “I am extremely happy about the initiatives taken by Women’s Wing and the process has already begun for rolling out education scholarships to the student pursuing courses in real estate and allied sectors. Going forward, the wing plans to work towards the skill development of construction workers and many other challenging activities.”
The event witnessed networking over lunch which was enjoyed by all the ladies & gentlemen present who could share their experiences and aspirations with each other.
