Womens’ Wing – Role to Expand!

The evening of July 31, 2018 was truly special when CREDAI-MCHI hosted Ceremonies of Annual General Meeting and Change of Guard on at Hotel Sofitel, amidst the presence of dignitaries from the Government, Developer Fraternity, Members, Banking & Finance Industry, IPCs and other stake-holders like our preferred partners.

 

Mr Deepak Parekh, Chairman, HDFC and Global icon from the world of Finance was the Special Guest of Honour who in his highly influential address discussed the challenges before Real – Estate industry and its way forward.

Guests of Honour, Mr.Ajoy Mehta, IAS, MCGM  Commissioner in his address said, the role of Women’s Wing in the field of CSR is praiseworthy but they should also be involved with the DCPR 20134 to bring in more human angle to it.

Mr Gautam Chatterjee, Chairman MahaRERA, while praising the CREDAI-MCHI Womens’ Wing role in the field of CSR, he added that CREDAI – MCHI Womens’ Wing to get associated with MahaRERA’s Apprenticeship program and take it forward.

The event was marked by the “Change of Baton” which was handed over by Mr Mayur Shah to the new President, Mr Nayan Shah and release of vision document “Manifesto” outlining the key objectives.

Mr Deepak Parekh unfolded the MANIFESTO and presented the Blue-Print of activities for CREDAI-MCHI and revealed the priority areas.

As a part of the major goal for Vision 2022, the Managing Committee members and other members took the oath of Transparency, Integrity, Honesty, Justice, Accountability, Compliance and fair play.

During AGM, Ms.Sonal Shah – Chairperson of Women’s Wing gave a presentation on CSR activities undertaken by Women’s Wing to the audience present. She thanked Mr Dharmesh Jain for the creation of Women’s Wing in 2015 which has taken giant strides in his mentorship. The highlight of the presentations included Health Camp, Dental Camp, Cancer Awareness Programme, Student Scholarship, Motivational Talk and other CSR activities undertaken by Women’s Wing.

Ms Shraddha Goradia presented a plan of Execution of Apprenticeship Act of Government of Maharashtra.

During COG, Ms.Sonal Shah handed over the charge to Ms.Anuradha Shah – Chairperson of Women’s Wing where Mrs.Shah introduced New Committee members to the audience. The committee comprises the following members: Ms Sejal Goradia -Hon. Vice Chairperson, Ms Jesal Shah – Hon. Secretary, Ms Mona Ajmera- Hon. Treasurer, Ms Sonal Shah, Ms Falguni Shah & Ms Richa Shah -Special Projects.

Ms Anuradha Shah taking over as Chairperson of CREDAI-MCHI Women’s Wing shared her vision of CSR roles with the audience present and requested all members to encourage the Women in their family to become members of Women’s Wing and be a part of this unique initiative.

Later Ms Aarti Deshpande was felicitated as the meritorious student for her excellent performance in her 2nd year of Architecture from Anjuman I Islam Kalsekar Technical Campus of Architecture by Women’s Wing, Mr Mayur Shah and Mr Nayan Shah ,Mr Bandish Ajmera and Dhaval Ajmera.
