Taking forward the agenda of providing healthy living & tobacco-free life to construction workers on our members’ sites, CREDAI -MCHI Women’s Wing has organised series of cancer awareness and Oral check-up camps which have immensely benefitted the construction workers.
CREDAI -MCHI Women’s Wing conducted Health Camp in association with Vasantha Memorial Trust for Cancer and Dr Gunjan Thaker and team from The Dental Studio at Terraform Realty,DWARKA site at Ghatkopar (E) on 09 April 2019.
Health camp started with singing of prayers by Women’s Wing members Mrs./s , Anuradha Shah , Sejal Goradia ,Sonal Shah , Falguni Shah ,Richa Shah, Jesal Shah,Alka Doshi ,Sunita Prajapathi and Shraddha Prajapathi .
The camp witnesses whole-hearted & enthusiastic participation by 100 construction workers who attended the camp. They were greatly benefited by the motivational talk and presentation given by Mrs. Jayalakshmi of Vasantha Memorial. A short film based on Cancer was shown to the construction workers to increase the awareness about cancer. Five labourers came forward and said that they will leave gutka and cigarettes and will lead a healthy life.
