Taking forward the agenda of providing healthy living & tobacco-free life to construction workers on our members’ sites, CREDAI -MCHI Women’s Wing has organised series of cancer awareness and Dental/Oral check-up camps which have immensely benefitted the construction workers.
CREDAI -MCHI Women’s Wing conducted Health Camp in association with Vasantha Memorial Trust for Cancer Awareness along with Dental/Oral check up organized by Dr Gunjan Thaker and team from The Dental Studio at KALPATARU -AVANA site at Parel on 02th April 2019.
Health camp started with singing of prayers by Women’s Wing members Mrs./s , Mona Ajmera, Falguni Shah and Jesal Shah.
The camp witnesses whole-hearted & enthusiastic participation by 200 construction workers and 25 staff members who attended the camp. They were greatly benefited by the motivational talk and presentation given by Mrs. Jayalakshmi of Vasantha Memorial. A short film based on Cancer was shown to the construction workers to increase the awareness about cancer. Six labourers came forward and said that they will leave gutka and cigarettes and will lead a healthy life.
