Taking the CSR activities of the association forward for the year 2018, CREDAI -MCHI Women’s Wing organised Health Camp at Dosti Planet North at Shilphata, Navi Mumbai site on January 18,2018.
The Camps were organized in association with Vasantha Memorial Trust for Cancer Awareness and Dental check up camp.
Around 150 construction workers enthusiastically attended the camp. There were 40 women’s labourers where Ms Jayalakshmi’s team conducted PAP test for cervical screening for women at the site. All the workers were greatly benefited by the motivational talk and presentation given by Mrs. Jayalakshmi of Vasantha Memorial which outlined the dangerous health hazards of smoking & chewing tobacco and eating gutka. A short film based on Cancer was shown to the construction workers to increase the awareness about cancer.
CREDAI – MCHI is thankful to Ms Jayalakshmi for creating such great awareness about the cancer and dental hygiene.
